PROPERTY INSURANCES

A subject of insurance can be any movable and immovable, owned or in possession of the insured person/company.

In a group of property insurances are contained in particular following insurances:

• fire and natural perils insurance
• theft insurance
• all risks insurance
• electronic equipment insurance
• machinery and construction equipment insurance
• construction/ erection all risk insurance (CAR/EAR)

Construction/ erection all risk insurances provide complex insurance cover of the investment during its realization process.

In case of bigger contracts a construction/erection all risk insurance is common practice and is one of the best risk management tools.

Subject of insurance

A subject of insurance is an object during construction or erection works, including objects located on the construction site, also construction/erection works, building materials and facilities, construction camp, construction machinery and equipment, materials, expenses for removal of remains of the damaged property.

The policy includes also civil liability connected with construction/erection works for material damage and/or bodily injures of the third parties that caused at the construction site or nearby.

Insurance cover

The insurance covers all damages and material losses consist in loss, damage or devastation of property that are not excluded in General Terms and Conditions of Insurance or in the policy.

It is all risks insurance, as distinct from traditional policies, that include only some insured events. Basic risks included in insurance coverage: fire, lighting stroke, explosion, collapse of an aircraft, construction disaster, flood, hurricane, hail, landslide, heavy rain, earthquake and others. In civil liability part the policy covers civil liability of insurance taker for personal and material damages caused for the third parties in connection with construction/erection works.
